According to E! Online, Cyrus posted a link to the barely used camera on Twitter with the message, "Buy my old camera!", although the tweet was removed minutes later.
Despite the quick removal, followers spotted the tweet resulting in the items ever-increasing price. The listing still has a further six days of bidding to go.
A closer look at the eBay seller's profile suggests that the 20-year-old is not new to the bidding site, having joined in November 2007.
It seems that the 'Wrecking Ball' hit-maker has also bought ten items from the site, if the profile with 100 per cent feedback is indeed owned by Cyrus.
