Miley Cyrus had put up a Nikon N80 35mm SLR film camera for just USD 20 on eBay but news of actress-singer's listing has pushed the price to USD 11,700.
According to E! Online, Cyrus posted a link to the barely used camera on Twitter with the message, "Buy my old camera!", although the tweet was removed minutes later.
Despite the quick removal, followers spotted the tweet resulting in the items ever-increasing price. The listing still has a further six days of bidding to go.
A closer look at the eBay seller's profile suggests that the 20-year-old is not new to the bidding site, having joined in November 2007.
Listings dating back to 2010 include a vintage cowgirl shirt, men's ties, Hudson blue jeans and more recently, headphones.
It seems that the 'Wrecking Ball' hit-maker has also bought ten items from the site, if the profile with 100 per cent feedback is indeed owned by Cyrus.
