The two, who got engaged last summer, acted like strangers and 'barely talked or acknowledged' each other as they stepped out together for the premiere of Hemsworth's film 'Paranoia' in Hollywood, reported Hollywood Life.
Hemsworth's family also didn't pay much attention to the 'We Can't Stop' hitmaker.
"They (Liam's family) literally had their backs to her. Meanwhile, Miley and Liam barely talked or acknowledged each other. At one point, she gave him a light kiss, but it was weak.
Hemsworth was not particularly affectionate toward his fiancee even though she was still wearing her engagement ring.
"At the party, they acted like strangers. Even when they were standing right next to each other, they would never touch -- hold hands, put their arms around each other, or anything like that -- it was like they didn't even know each other," the source added.
