Minda Industries signs pact for JV with Japan's Katolec Corp

Auto components manufacturer Minda Industries today said it has inked a pact for creation of a joint venture with Japan-based Katolec Corporation to manufacture products including high-end electronics.
"The company on February 22, 2017 has signed the joint venture agreement with Katolec Corporation, Japan to manufacture the products including high end electronics like printed circuit boards (PCB) and box build assemblies," it said in a regulatory filing.
The joint venture company is proposed to be set in Pune, Maharashtra, it added.
Shares of Minda Industries were trading 3.07 per cent higher at Rs 391 on BSE.
