Miner killed in underground pit in Dhanbad

A 46-year-old miner was killed today after getting entangled in a motor coupling inside the Putkibalihari mine of Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL) in Dhanbad, an official said here.
Anjan Teli, a pump operator, got entangled with the motor coupling and died, BCCL general manager K C Mishra said.
He said that the mishap occurred around 1.30 PM and denied that anybody was trapped inside the mine.
