The girl was playing in her bedroom at an apartment in Colorado Springs when she fell backward out of the window on Thursday. She dropped about three stories to the ground.
Luckily, her plunge was cushioned by the "Minion" stuffed toy she was clutching, police said.
"Fortunately, when the child fell out of the window, she continued holding on to a stuffed Minion teddy bear that is believed to have cushioned her fall," the police said in a statement.
Minions are small and yellow animated characters popularised by the hit 2010 animated film, "Despicable Me.
