Minor fire in PGIMER's Kairon block

A fire broke out at the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research's (PGIMER's) Kairon block today and was immediately brought under control, fire department official said here.
He said that a fire tender from Sector 11 fire station was pressed into service and the flames were brought under control within minutes.
An electric short circuit was responsible for the minor fire, he said, adding that there were no patients in the area where the fire broke out.
