The victim's body was found floating in a well at Sakheya village of the district, Neeraj Kumar, an officer with the Mufassil police station told reporters today.
According to an FIR filed by the victim's brother, three persons allegedly abducted her on the night of July 21 and raped her, Kumar said adding one of the accused was arrested, who had confessed to the crime and claimed he had an affair with the girl.
The two other accused named in the FIR were absconding and a search is on to trace their whereabouts, the officer said.
