Minor girl raped by cousin brother in Rajasthan

A 12-year-old girl was allegedly raped and beaten up by her cousin brother in Ajari-Kala village here, police said today.
The victim's father lodged a complaint that one Anil Kumar (22) yesterday raped and beat up his daughter on the pretext of dropping her home in his autorickshaw, police said.
Anil beat up and raped the girl after taking her to a deserted place in the area when she was returning from a local market, they said.
The accused fled from the village following the act, they said.
Based on his complaint, an FIR was filed with the Sadar police under section 376 (Rape) of the IPC and relevant sections of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO Act), they said.

Girl's medical examination and statement would be done soon, they said, adding that a team of police personnel was deputed to nab the accused.
