Minor girl raped by tenant

A three and a half-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a youth, who lived on rent in the same house along with her family in Dakshin area of the district, police said today.
According to a complaint filed by the minor's kin, the incident occurred last night when the accused, Sanju (25) lured his landlord's daughter and took her to his room.
Later, the girl's family members found her in Sanju's room, police said, adding that the accused is absconding.
The girl was taken for medical examination to a local hospital, where her condition is stated to be stable.
The police is probing the matter and the medical report of the girl is awaited.

A manhunt has been launched to nab the accused, they said.
