The accused identified as Ravi Koli, was staying at his maternal uncle's home for a month and the victim also lived in the same locality, said SHO Manhorathana police station, Rameshawar Choudhary.
He took the minor girl to a nearby river bank last evening on pretext of giving her toffees and raped her.
When the girl started bleeding, he left her, following which she was rushed to government community health centre from where she was referred to district hospital Jhalawar, he said.
The accused has been arrested while the victim is under treatment, police said.
