The 17-year-old girl had gone to the fields on Thursday when the neighbour allegedly raped her at gun-point and fled after warning her against disclosing the incident, police said today.
However, the girl narrated the incident to her parents and they approached the police yesterday.
The girl has been sent for medical examination and the youth was arrested, police added.
