The Vice singer has signed a deal with Sony Music Nashville executives for her new Vanner Records firm, and its first release will be her new album, The Weight of These Wings, which will hit retailers on November 18, reported Contactmusic.
Sony Music Nashville Chairman and CEO Randy Goodman reveals the move was "the natural next step" for Lambert, adding, "Re-signing Miranda to Sony Music Nashville and helping her create Vanner Records has been absolutely one of the highlights of my 15 months at Sony Music Nashville.
Lambert has been part of the Sony family since her 2005 debut, Kerosene, but she previously admitted establishing her own label wasn't high on her priorities list.
