The association had made arrangements to celebrate independence day function and erected a flag post in the court premises.
However, it was found damaged in the morning, police said adding, some miscreants might be behind it.
The damaged portion of the post was removed and the flag hoisted in the remaining part, president of the association M Rajasekar said, adding, a police complaint had been lodged.
