However, no one was injured in the firing but the bullets damaged windscreen of a car parked in the house and a window, police said.
The incident occurred in the morning. Motorbike-borne miscreants opened fire at the house from outside and fled.
"Preliminary investigation indicates towards money-related dispute. The matter is being investigated to ascertain further details," a police officer said, adding that efforts were on to nab the accused.
