According to a MeT department official, humidity recorded at 8.30 AM was 96 per cent.
The weatherman has predicted that skies will mainly be clear during later part of the day.
"The skies will be mainly clear throughout the day and maximum temperature is expected to hover around 30 degrees Celsius," the official added.
Yesterday, the maximum and minimum temperatures were recorded at 30.1 degrees Celsius and 13 degrees Celsius respectively.
