Tited "TRACES", the exhibition is a melange of mixed media paintings, canvases of different colour palettes, creative ceramics and sculptures.
Artists include Abhijit Kumar Pathak, Indira Purkayastha Ghosh, Sidharth M Pansari and Triveni Prasad are set to showcase at the Shridhari Art Gallery from April 17 till April 27.
Triveni Prasad Tiwari who has a Masters degree in Fine Arts (Pottery and Ceramic Design) from the Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has won many laurels and accolades.
Tiwari says that his ceramic draws inspiration from the "stark realities of life."
Sidharth Pansari, another seasoned artist is set to display his body of work titled "Construction" at the show, which is pegged as the most complex, polemic and double-edged forms of visual experience.
Also an alumnus of BHU, his "non-objective" paintings capture physical and emotional effects.
He claims his works "proliferates though a distilled reconciliation of allegorical opposites of form and colour, of geometry and space, of distance and dimension."
Abhijit Kumar Pathak, who holds a MFA degree from Jamia Milia Islamia University is displaying evocative canvasses.
"My practice with contemporary mode of execution, besides the thematic manner of presenting my urge, always emphasise the space alignment as a significant part of its technical aspect," he says.
If clay modelling is Triveni's forte, Sidharth and Abhijit are gifted with masterstrokes.
Giving them company is Indira Ghosh, who is a professional sculptor adept at plastic arts.
An alumna of BHU, Indira has won several awards for her avant garde art form.
