The People's Representation for Identity and Status of Mizoram (PRISM) on Saturday said the party has filed counter affidavits against 28 candidates, who have submitted nominations to contest the polls to the 40-member Mizoram Legislative Assembly on November 28.

A release issued by PRISM said that counter affidavits were filed against candidates belonging to the ruling Congress, Mizo National Front (MNF) and Zoram People's Movement (ZPM).

Those against whom counter affidavits were filed include Chief Minister Lal Thanhawla, ZPM chief ministerial candidate Lalduhoma and MNF nominee C Lalramzauva, for allegedly trying to conceal facts, the release said.
