"We are in close contact with the FSSAI and will take decisions in accordance with its instructions," he said.
Meanwhile, the state government has banned import and sale of four energy drinks following instructions from the FSSAI, he said.
The state food safety commissioner issued an order yesterday banning energy drinks like Monster, Tzinga, Cloud 9 pomegranate/grape and Akoarama.
