MNS leader Atul Sarpotdar no more

Maharashtra Navnirman Sena leader Atul Sarpotdar passed away here this evening after a brief illness. He was 51.
Sarpotdar, the son of former Shiv Sena MP late Madhukar Sarpotdar, was admitted to Leelavati Hospital in suburban Bandra yesterday due to blood sugar-related problems and died this evening, family sources said.
Sarpotdar was an old associate of MNS chief Raj Thackeray when the latter was leading Bhartiya Vidyarthi Sena, the students' wing of Shiv Sena.
The funeral would be held in Kherwadi here tomorrow morning.
