Mob torches bus after fatal mishap

A teenaged boy was killed and his friend seriously injured when a speeding private bus knocked down their two-wheeler near here, triggering violent protest with a mob setting ablaze the passenger vehicle.
Ashraf and his friend, both aged 17, were riding a motorcycle when the bus him them from behind while trying to overtake them at Mukkali, police said.
Ashraf died while his friend had been admitted to a private hospital here, they said.
An irate mob set the bus on fire after asking the passengers to get down, completely destroying it, police added.
