Mob vandalises railway property over delay of trains

Upset over the frequent delay of trains, an irate mob vandalised railway property at the Shahdara station here, the police said today.
No one was injured in the incident, but around 50 people damaged station property, including the power cabin yesterday, they added.
Two persons involved in the violence have been identified and the Railway Protection Force (RPF) is analysing CCTV footage to identify the others, the police said.
The mob was infuriated after a passenger train arrived late.
They said that no police case has been registered in the matter as the case is being dealt by the RPF, they said.
