These were suspected to have been thrown in the high- security prison complex from outside by someone a few days ago, they said, they said.
The jail administration received information about the incident on Friday following which a search was launched yesterday and it continued till today.
The search was conducted near a specific barrack and the jail guards found a polythene bag with two packets inside, ASI Gyaneshwar Prasad said.
One of the packets had 41 mobile charging pins and the other 33 charging plates.
The jail administration handed over the seized items to the police today which began an investigation in the matter. Twenty-one mobile phones and 20 gm of hashish had been seized from the jail premises in May.
