An orchestrated traffic management system will be launched to enable the commuters to get regular updates on their mobile phones.
"The commuters can lodge their complaints about traffic system via the mobile app," ADP (Traffic) Anil Kumar Gupta Gupta said.
The Additional Director General of Police (Traffic) held meeting with district officials on traffic alerts, restrictions, diversions while they were travelling on the roads in their vehicles to reach their destinations within the state at Harsaon police lines.
Traffic police have been instructed to identify congestion points in city and trans-Hindon area (Sahibabad) where vehicles have to travel in the peak hours, he said.
