Mobiles, pen drive seized from prison

Police today seized two mobile phones, mobile charger, a pen drive, and three sharp objects during a raid at the district prison here.
A power bank, two hukka type plastic bottles, electric wire and extension cord were also seized, police sources said.
The police team, comprising 50 police officers and four ACPs led by DCP Hanumanthraya conducted the raid between 6.30 am and 7.30 am.
The sources said it was a routine raid and more such raids would be conducted to check unauthorized items reaching the inmates of the prison.
