Imposing the Model Code of Conduct here yesterday, Guntur District Collector Kanthial Dande directed all representatives not to use government guest houses, government vehicles and also barred them from attending public functions.
He clarified that government schemes under progress will continue but no new public welfare schemes would be launched.
The results will be declared on March 19.
Election notification will be issued on February 19 and the last date for filing nomination is February 26, while last date for withdrawal is March 2.
