Moderate rains occur in some parts of Himachal Pradesh

Moderate rains occurred today in some parts of Himachal Pradesh as the monsoons remained subdued with no significant change in maximum and minimum temperatures, the local Met office said.
However, it has warned of heavy rains at isolated places in the mid and lower hills tomorrow and also predicted rains and thundershowers in the area.
Rains or snow in higher hills over the next six days has also been forecast by the Met.
Aghar was wettest in the state with 42 mm rains followed by Palampur 36 mm, Bangana and Amb 35 mm, Dharamsala 32 mm, Baijnath 28 mm, Nahan 27 mm, Guler and Sundernagar 23 mm, Solan and Mehre 15 mm, Kasauli and Jubbarhatti 13 mm and Jogindernagar 12 mm.
The minimum temperatures fluctuated marginally and Kalpa, Manali and Keylong recorded a low of 14.2 degrees Celsius, 14. 6, and 14.9 respectively.
Dharamsala recorded 17, Shimla 17.6, Nahan 19.9, Palampur 20.5, Solan 21.2, Bhuntar 22, Sundernagar 22.7 and Una 25.2 degrees Celsius.
There was no significant change in day temperatures and Una recorded 34.8 degrees Celsius followed by Bhuntar 33, Sundernagar 32.1, Solan 28.8, Nahan 27.4, Dharamsala 26.8, Shimla 24.5, Manali 24 and Kalpa23.6 degrees Celsius.
