Mehre in Hamirpur was wettest in the region with 77 mm of rains while Una received 61 mm rains, followed by Bangana 31 mm, Arki 28 mm, Kasol 24 mm, Shimla 21 mm, Kahu 19 mm, Berthin 16 mm, Kandaghat 15 mm, Chelsea 13 mm, Nahan and Kasauli 12 mm each.
The local MeT office has predicted heavy rains at some places during the next 24 hours and rains and thunderstorms at several places over the next five days.
The minimum night temperatures dropped by one degree with Shimla and Manali recording a low of 15.4 deg C while Una was hottest during the night also with a low of 24.2 deg, followed by Kangra 23 deg, Dharamsala and Hamirpur 21.4 deg, Sundernagar 20.5 deg, Palampur and Bhuntar 19.5 deg and Solan 18.4 deg C respectively.
