Modi govt did not fulfill election promises: Thangkabalu

: Former Union Minister and Congress leader K V Thangkabalu today lashed out at the one year rule of the NDA government, saying it had not fulfilled its election promises.
He alleged that interest on loans for farmers had been increased and land taken from them for laying gas pipelines.
Thangkabalu demanded to know why Prime Minister Narendra Modi was remaining silent on Lalit Modi issue.
The Congress leader was speaking to reporters after undertaking a five km padayatra.
