The Congress today hit out at Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the death of four BSF personnel in cross-border firing by Pakistan and labelled it "weak and cowardly" for failing to protect the country's borders in the last four years.
Congress leader Pramod Tiwari also accused the prime minister of insulting the martyrdom of the four BSF personnel by releasing his "fitness video" on the day of the incident.
"Four of our jawans died today and we salute their supreme sacrifice. But I hold the weak policy of the Modi government responsible for this. I fail to understand why Prime Minister Narendra Modi has turned weak before Pakistan?
