Competing in women 69kg category, Monika lifted 98kg i snatch and 117kg in Clean and Jerk for a total of 215 kg, which could fetch her only a sixth place.
Sathish Kumar (77kg) was next best Indian in the competition as he managed eighth position in his category by lifted a total of 304kgs. He lifted 139 kgs in snatch and 165 kg in Clean and Jerk.
