Monthly pension for freedom fighters enhanced

Puducherry government has enhanced the monthly pension for freedom fighters from Rs 5,000 to Rs 7,000.
A communication from the Freedom Fighters Cell of Puducherry government said the hike has been effected from the current month.
This comes in the wake of various outfits of the freedom fighters raising demands to this effect.
