"At present Vidhan Sabha has 108 CCTV cameras and we are going to install more inside the premises and all entry and exit points. We have identified 31 spots where the latest Pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) and anti-vandal dome cameras will be installed", IG, Law and Order, A Satish Ganesh told reporters here.
He said before the start of assembly session, Speaker Mata Prasad Pandey had expressed the need to install more CCTV cameras to cover all galleries and entry and exit points.
A meeting of the committee would be held tomorrow to discuss the ongoing work in this regard, he said, adding, the work of installation of cameras would be completed by December 31.
