Those preferring traditional coffee earlier were now shifting to speciality coffee, CCD Coffee Evangelist Merlin Raj told reporters here.
Even among the coffee drinking states of Tamil Nadu and Karnataka, customers were slowly moving from their traditional coffee drinking methods to speciality beverages, Merlin, here to kick start the month long Coffee Festival till September 14, organised by CCD, said.
The company, part of the Amalgamated Bean Coffee Trading Company, had 1,600 outlets, including 360 in Southern states, he said, adding, CCD served coffee it grew on 13,000 acre of its own estates and another 7,000 acres of managed estates.
