During the corresponding period last year, 4.57 lakh MT paddy had arrived in the State's 'mandis', an official release said here today.
Of the total arrival, more than 7.38 lakh MT paddy was leviable and 27,756 MT paddy was non-leviable.
While government procurement agencies have purchased more than 6.82 lakh MT paddy, millers and dealers have purchased 83,548 MT crop.
The Food and Supplies Department has purchased more than 3.16 lakh MT of paddy, more than 2.56 lakh MT have been purchased by Hafed, 71,341 MT crop have been purchased by the Haryana Agro-industries Corporation and 38,084 MT have been purchased by the Haryana Warehousing Corporation.
