CPI(M) politburo member Sitaram Yechury today said more Trinamool Congress leaders would be found involved in the Saradha scam as the CBI investigation into it progresses.

"We have been saying about the involvement of TMC leadership in the scam from the very beginning. Now two of their MPs are in CBI custody. As the investigation will progress, many more TMC leaders will be found guilty," Yechury told reporters.

TMC Rajya Sabha MP Srinjoy Bose was arrested by the CBI on November 21, while another Rajya Sabha MP Kunal Ghosh, who was suspended by TMC, was arrested by the state police in November last year.

On TMC supremo Mamata Banerjee's claim that Bose was arrested because she attended a Congress programme in New Delhi, Yechury said CPI(M) leaders who had attended the same programme were not arrested.

"She is saying that the arrest is a fallout of her attending a Congress program commemorating 125th birth anniversary of Jawaharlal Nehru. But we too attended the program, but none of us has been arrested," he said.

Yechury today reiterated the party stand ruling out any alliance with TMC to stop BJP's growth in the state and said that it was TMC which had brought BJP to Bengal.
