Similarly, Bhagalpur and Purnea may witness dense fog in the morning followed by clear sky later, the state Meteorological department said in its forecast.
Chapra, the district headquarters town of Saran district, today recorded the lowest minimum temperature at 7.6 degrees celsius in Bihar, followed by 8.5 degrees celsius in Purnea, 10.0 degrees celsius each at Patna and Gaya while 12.0 degrees in Bhagalpur, the Met bulletin said.
Gaya recorded highest maximum temperature in the state at 27.5 degrees celsius followed by 26.2 degrees at Patna, 24.7 degrees at Bhagalpur and 22.6 degrees at Purnea.
