In his address, Singh complimented the cadets for their smart drill and enthusiastic performances.
He also appreciated the commitment of the National Cadet Corps to "groom future leaders".
On arrival, he was was presented an impressive guard of honour by selected cadets followed by a performance by the Cadets Band from North Eastern Region.
The Republic Day Camp 2015 is being attended by 2,070 cadets, specially selected from 17 Directorates covering all the states and union territories and 100 cadets from eight friendly foreign countries under the Youth Exchange Programme.
