Mother booked for assaulting her child to death

A case has been registered against a woman for allegedly beating her five-year-old kid to death in Old Faridabad area, police said today.
A complaint was lodged in this connection with the police by Suman who works for the child helpline at Shramik Vihar in Sector 30 here, a police spokesman said.
She alleged that Krishna, a resident of Old Faridabad, killed her child on Sunday by brutally thrashing the minor.
A case has been registered and investigation is underway, the spokesman said.
