The CPI will contest the Assembly polls from 25 seats while the CPM will fight elections on eight seats, a CPI release said here today.
Prominent among those contesting polls from CPI in the state include its state in-charge Shailendra Shaili, who will file nomination from Bhopal Central seat.
The party (CPI) will also field candidates from Ashta, Jabalpur Central, Sagar City, Khargone City, Bhagwanpura, Bhikamgaon, Rajpur, Sendhwa, Passemal, Dabra, Gwalior City, Anuppur, Kotma, Multai, Nagoud, Chitrakoot, Gurh, Bada Malhara, Churhat, Singrauli, Guna City, Bamouri, Baihar and Indore-2.
