A couple died today after a truck rammed into their motorcycle in Seoni district, the police said.

Vihant, the three-year-old son of Dilip Navre (27) and his wife Sapna (25) escaped unhurt, a police official said.

"The accident occurred when the truck hit the motorcycle of the Navres from behind and ran over them," said Kurai police station in-charge K S Baghel.

The truck driver was arrested, he said.

He said Navre's son Vihant survived miraculously.

A police team reached the spot and sent the bodies for postmortem, Baghel said.
