"Because of heavy rains and floods in 2012-2013, soybean crop was badly damaged following which the district administration had conducted a survey and sent a proposal to the state government for compensation," Harda Collector Rajnish Shrivastava told PTI.
The government has sanctioned Rs 115.24 crore, he said, adding Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will personally hand over relief cheques to the farmers at a function here on February 5.
