Mulling provision of minimum Rs 1k pension under EPS: Minister

Minister of Labour and Employment, Oscar Fernandes, today said that a proposal for providing a minimum pension of Rs 1,000 to member pensioners under Employee's Pension Scheme, 1995, was under consideration by the government.
He made the above statement while replying to a question in Rajya Sabha.
