MI captain Ricky Ponting, support staff Jonty Rhodes, Robin Singh, Anil Kumble and John Wright along with players like Rohit Sharma, Munaf Patel, Glenn Maxwell, Kieron Pollard and Dwayne Smith came yesterday by an Air India flight and went stragith to the refinery in a bus, sources said.
Key MI member Sachin Tendulkar was not part of the visiting team, they said.
"The cricketers visited the refinery and had a night halt at Reliance township," a senior RIL official said.
RIL is the franchise owner of Mumbai Indians.
