Mumbai to host 2nd world tea & coffee expo

The 2nd "World Tea & Coffee Expo" 2014, wherein a number of new and exotic tea and coffee products are likely to be launched for first time in the country, will be held here from September 11.
"The three-day event will showcase products, machineries and technologies from a judicious mix of Indian and international exhibitors," a statement said.
According to organisers, over 50 categories of products, technologies and equipment from India and abroad will be on the display at the event.
The exhibition is supported by the All India Tea Traders Association, the Bombay Tea Traders Association, and SME Chambers of India.

"WTCE will determine trends, create awareness on optimisation of product lines, enable networking with peers, industry stalwarts, academia and government officials," the statement said.
The event is likely to see the maiden launch of a number of new and exotic tea and coffee products in India.
For tea professionals, there will be presence of new teas and infusions, tea boards, certifications, tea processing and packaging machinery, tea bag material manufacturers and allied products and accessories.
The coffee industry will also be strongly represented here with exhibitors ranging from producers and exporters to roasters, machinery manufacturers and coffee-related accessories.
