The championship, being organised by the Mumbai City District Table Tennis Association (MCDTTA), is one of the most important events in the the world junior circuit.
The championship is being held under the auspices of the Asian Table Tennis Union (ATTU), Table Tennis Federation of India (TTFI) and Maharashtra State Table Tennis Association (MSTTA), a media release said.
The competition would feature around 200 players from the continent, including 30 from host country India, the release added.
