Municipal Chairman, 2 councillors booked in UP

Cases were registered against chairman and two councillors of Gangoh municipal board here in connection with Bhadkah post case, police said today.
Gangoh Municipal Chairman Nauman Masood along with councillors Lalu Quresh and Sravan Saini were booked under various sections, police said.
Meanwhile, minister Naheed Hasan has warned the district authorities that the town will be brought to an halt if the accused aren't booked within four days of time.
Chairman Masood said that he is being implicated in the case to create tension among communities. Bhadkah post case had been closed but the minister brought up the case again which doesn't suit him as a lawmaker.
