Municipal clerk held for taking bribe

A lower division clerk was held today for accepting a bribe of Rs 2,500 from a person to issue lease document for his land, the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) said.
Jaipur Municipal Corporation staff Madan Lal Bagda had demanded the bribe from one Rahis Khan to issue the lease document for his land, ACB IG Smita Srivastava said.
Badga was presently attached to a camp of the municipal corporation where the lease documents were being distributed, Srivastava said.
After verification of the complaint, the accused was trapped and arrested, the ACB official said.
