The JV partners have invested Rs 150 crore on the facility, which has come up at Mandal near Ahmedabad.
The factory has an installed capacity of 1,500 tonnes per month and the first phase of the machining facility has been commissioned.
"The new machining facility has high productive semi-auto transfer lines...We will be able to provide the best quality parts to our OEM partners in Western India through this plant," Hero Motors Company Chairman Pankaj Munjal said in a statement.
