Kermit the Frog along with Miss Piggy, and the gang, are coming to Disney's upcoming streaming platform Disney+ with a new unscripted short-form series, "Muppets Now".
The news was announced at the Disney+ D23 Expo event here.
"Forty years after leaving the swamp in his big screen debut in 'The Muppet Movie', Kermit the Frog is heading upstream with Miss Piggy, and the gang, bringing a new kind of mayhem and laughter to Disney+ with their first-ever unscripted short-form series, Muppets Now," the studio said in the announcement.
The series will feature the Muppets alongside celebrity guest stars.
"Muppets Now" will be produced by Muppets Studios.
Episode count of the show and a launch date have not yet been revealed.
