Murder case: Judge records statement of accused in ambulance

A judge today recorded the statement of an ailing accused in an ambulance in connection with Satish Tyagi murder case here.
Additional District and Sessions Judge Tej Bahadur recorded the statement of Minu Tyagi, who is the wife of slain gangster Vicky Tyagi and an accused in the Satish Tyagi murder case, in an ambulance, prosecution said.
Minu, who is unwell, was brought amid tight security from the district jail to the court compound, where the judge recorded her statement in the ambulance.
The statement was recorded under section 313 of the CrPC.
Later, the court posted the matter for May 27.
Six accused, including Minu Tyagi, are facing trial in the murder of Satish Tyagi, a trader, who was shot dead in Rohana village here five years ago.
